Foundations and framing establish the building’s support and shape. The exterior layers manage its exposure to the weather. Both deserve careful attention before finishes cover the work.

This collection shows framing, siding, small buildings, lanais, decks, stairs, and railings from our Kaua‘i projects, including complete deck and railing replacements on homes already in use. At Kauhale O Namahana alone we have built five foundations for PAL Hawai‘i; the Anahola tiny house has its own page.
